If your valve is not really functional and you have problems, you may be experiencing symptoms of untreated hydrocephalus. The hydrocephalus association notes adults may experience headaches, dizziness, vision issues, confusion, etc.. You need to get checked out. You may not experience all symptoms. NPH symptoms involve difficulty walking, urinary problems, and dementia/cognitive problems. Anytime there's vision, balance or cognitive issues it means follow up asap. I hate when problems are transitory but if they keep happening then people need to consider the bigger picture and the benefits of a revision in that context.

I hope you get this resolved quickly and without complications.
