Default shunt adjustment question

I got a VP shunt put in 8 weeks ago for obstructive hydrocephalus. I recently had my shunt adjusted 2 setting more open. Now that side of my head and neck feel like it did the first couple of weeks - tight and like there is something foreign there. There is no swelling to suggest a CSF leak or an infection. Also my pulsatile tinnitus is back. Are these typical or should I call my neurosurgeon?

Hi OHnotICP

Welcome to NeuroTalk .

I am sorry to read about your shunt.

It is something that I know nothing about but I hope that other members will be able to offer you good suggestions.

All the best.
