my wife had a Stratus II shunt inserted 10 years ago. although it is still working well it is not able to carry liquid away fast enough and Ventricles are still enlarging.
Our surgeon is saying a new shunt with a larger valve may have to be inserted. Do shunts actually come with various or larger valves? |
