I think the new family schedule (mom working full time, dad working a different shift, and dad home on the weekends), being sick, and maybe growing are all three the culprits. Yesterday she didn't sleep much, but today she slept till 8:45, and she was playing in the toy room and fell asleep reading a book, so I am just going to chill out with her today and tomorrow then I have to get my homework done (submitted on-line, but I don't have Microsoft Word on my 'puter, so I have to go use someone else's computer) and get my classroom at work finished up. Chris is trying to fix our rabbit hutch so that our new rabbits can live in bunny luxury rather than the "efficiency apartment" they are in now!

By the way, not to brag, but so far I have a 100% in one class, a 98% in another and a 95% in the other. YEAH ME! I am trying really hard cause my MIL said I wouldn't be able to do it. Nasty woman. So I have to prove her wrong!

Hi there, was just reading up on this post...really hope things settle for you and Megs soon. Must be so hard having all that worry. And well done in your classes! You should rightly feel very proud of yourself! And to anyone who tells you you can't achieve things in your life, when you're already dealing with so much...you should just do this in response....

My MIL has been critical of me from the beginning. Chris and I have never done things "right". We got married 4 mo. after we met. She said we were stupid for that, but we knew... and in Dec. we'll have been married 5 years. I know that doesn't sound long, but when you have a MIL voting against you from the get-go, I feel HAPPY! She also thinks we are raising our kids wrong... God forbid we discipline (she still doesn't and my 19 y.o. BIL runs things. Drives me nuts) and I never have a job that is good enough to her, don't make enough money, I put too much burden on Chris (he has to work too much, get up too early, and she couldn't understand why he would want to marry a diabetic). The list just never ends. But when she compares us to Chris' biochemist brother and his wife, who started dating in high school and dated for 7 years before they married, and have perfectly healthy (but bratty) children, we really look like white trash. But we are happy and that is what matters. So, when she said I couldn't go to school, work and take care of the kids, I said "really, we'll see" and off I went to study. HA!

You can swing it, girlie. That just sucks to have a MIL like that. I am sorry that you have to deal with that downer.

And poor Megan! Oh my - this really has to cool down for all of you soon.

I sure hope that the neuro got back to you before the long weekend. Keep us posted.
