Cool New to forum

Hi everyone! I just wanted to introduce myself a bit. My name is Laura. I'm an almost 30 year old SAHM to two beautiful girls. Caitlin is 4 1/2 and Cara is 20 months. I have also been married to my husband, Ben, for 7 years. We currently reside in the Denver Metro area of Colorado. Our daughter, Cara, was diagnosed with congenial hydrocephalus in July of 2007 and VP shunted in August of 2007. She also received a formal diagnosis of hypotonal cerebral palsy earlier this year. Cara attends PT, OT and speech therapies regularly and has made great progress. We have hope that she will be walking by her second birthday! I am looking forward to getting to know you all as I am desperate for connections and support for both myself, as a parent, and for my daughter.

Wanted to do a shout out to my fellow CafeMom-er LIZARD! Funny to see you here!

Take care everyone!

Laura
