I was born at 25 weeks and I had a IVH, which caused my hydrocephalus. I've had a shunt since I was born and sixteen surgeries to date, I'm only twenty. I just found this community, now I have people to talk to who know what I'm going though...yay.

Hey hydro! Nice to meet you, I'm new too. I'm 22 and I've had 17 surgeries to date with 15 of them being in the last 5 years. I love this site just cause it makes me feel like I'm not so alone in all this, cause when you have so many surgeries, its easy to get discouraged and feel like you are the only one going through it.~Melissa~
