Default Is it possible to get off of Social Security.

I am supposed to have a phone interview to review my SS case. (I think. I got a letter in the mail..... I don't remember if I go somewhere or not. Not the point.)

Anyway.....

Lizard knows what I am talking about (sort of) unless she didn't know I was on SS... Can a person who is on it request to be let go of the program once they are financially comfortable to live completely free of Social Security.

Who knows, one of us may win a multi-millions lottery jackpot (HIGHLY unlikely, but we can dream. ) Since comming into all that money, you probably woun't need SS anymore.

When I am financially comfortable living off the system, can I request to be unassigned to the program?
