Default My stompin' my feet pity party...

I HATE SEIZURES!!!!!!! Megs had another one today. It just drives me nuts. Three, count 'em 3, of the blasted things in four days. I am going to type a thing for Chris to call the neuro. I can't talk for that long at work... 2/3 year olds don't wait for Miss Heather to get off the phone and I just don't have the frame of mind to do that either. So, I will leave strict instructions for him and make sure he takes notes of the conversation. I hate being disconnected from this conversation, but Chris needs to do some of this too.

So here's what happened. I was at work (using the 'puter with faster internet to do homework) and Megs was with me. She was her normal getting into stuff self, then she asked for a drink. I gave her her sippy cup and she laid down. I thought that was odd, so I was watching her. It was pouring rain out so I was waiting for it to stop. Then she started that gag/cough/gonna throw up noise. I picked her up and was ready to dash outside if I needed to so I didn't have a big mess to clean up. She was really floppy. Then she kinda started talking to me again and perking up. She did spit up a bit, not much. So I got her in the car thinking the hospital is only about 5 blocks away... and I was supposed to be picking up Jack from my in-laws. So we headed out. I hit a huge puddle and about 5 seconds later she jumped, really delayed reaction so I turned around to head to some place to do diastat. I parked at the gas station and got in the back seat with her and then she started her twitching in her left leg. So I got her on her side in the back seat, got the diastat, gave her it, and it stopped about a minute later. It seemed like an eternity later like usual. Thank the LORD for clocks! She fell asleep and we went to get Jack. I snuggled her a while, she was talkative... she wanted to play and I put her down and she lost her balance and did a face plant on a lego block. She gets SO MAD that she can't get her body to do what her brain wants to.... so we got some books out. By the time we came back home she was sitting again and before she went to bed she was cruising furniture again.

I am so frustrated. I'll let you all know what the plan is... and all this crap on her shuntaversary. I protest Sundays.... the bad stuff happens on Sundays.

Thanks for listening!
