Hi folks,

As the online landscape has changed dramatically since we launched NeuroTalk nearly 20 years ago in 2006, I believe it's time to shut down our beloved community. I could explain why traffic to NT has fallen off a cliff in recent years, but blaming faceless corporations + their greed isn't going to change the end result.

This is a 30 day notice that as of July 1, 2025, NeuroTalk will go into "read-only" mode. We will keep the forums online indefinitely in this mode, where access to the information will be available, but no new posts will be allowed.

Thank you for all of your contributions & support over the years -- you, the members, are what make an online community like NeuroTalk so great. So let me just say how much I appreciated the honor and opportunity to provide this community to you these past decades. I also want to especially thank our volunteer support team, Chemar and Janon, for all of their help over these years in keeping the community spam-free and safe.

I can tell you that many people have adopted Facegroup groups as their default online support community, and you'll finding thriving online communities on services like Instagram and TikTok.

For mental health concerns, I continue to run My Support Forums and have no plans to close those as they continue to enjoy activity and new members every day.

This is awful news. When I am having meltdowns, uncertainty, and afraid, I come here...I am very disappointed. There isnt a day I dont stop by!

Yes, it is awful. But we can't keep a site like this running for less than a dozen active members. I'm very sorry.
