here is a link to a message board for free legal advice:

http://forum.freeadvice.com/

be sure to do a search before asking a question. most times you can find the answer. they tend to get a bit huffy if the question has recently been answered.

i have used this site a bunch.

Workers' Compensation Glossary

Workers' compensation is the oldest social insurance program. It has been adopted in most states, including California. California has a no-fault system, which means that injured employees need not prove the injury was someone else's fault in order to receive workers' compensation benefits for an on-the-job injury. Use this glossary of terms to better understand workers' compensation.
