You need to have your dr check out the neck symptoms and hopefully they will add that on to your wc claim.

The PT can contact your dr and let them know of the added symptoms, but the PT really has no other say about what can be treated, they must go by what the dr Rx 'd and what the claim allows for.

If you don't have a wc atty yet - now might be the time to start looking for a good one, when you start to have snags in your claim -and adding an injury is one of those I think - that's the time to interview and find the best one you can.

*Don't sign with the first one you talk to*
Check them out well.

read on your state's website to find help also.

Jo hit it on the head.

Tell your doctors all of your symptoms, when they started, how some appeared later or were always there but you thought they'd resolve and haven't, etc. Before the sun sets on Monday, get a free consult with TWO work comp attorneys who do ONLY work comp. Set out your story and let them help you.

Work comp at this time is NOT a do it yourself game. The ins. co. will leave you in the gutter.
