Exclamation Does anyone get a final WC settlement?

I have a WC attorney in CA and have waited more than 20 years since my work injury for pending this and that to ever get a final settlement. How long does it take most injured workers to settle in CA when they are left with chronic pain? My case is complicated but this is my life! Any input would really be appreciated by me! Thanks,
