Exclamation Does anyone get a final WC settlement?

I have a WC attorney in CA and have waited more than 20 years since my work injury for pending this and that to ever get a final settlement. How long does it take most injured workers to settle in CA when they are left with chronic pain? My case is complicated but this is my life! Any input would really be appreciated by me! Thanks,

That's a long time to wait for a final settlement.
Was your claim accepted at all or totally denied the whole time?
Have they been paying any of your injury related bills?

I have had two settlements since 2001 that took 3-4 years for each. They were related as it turned out which made the second one a bit complicated. But still it was only 4 years. I have heard of some going longer, but none near yours in length. Even with an attorney, what makes your case so complicated? Has your attorney kept you informed as to why it is dragging?

There is a statute of limitations on lawsuits, I would think by that time the suit would be dropped. Do you have something in writing? It's been a couple of months so maybe you got it straightened out, below is the California statutes maybe this can help you find your answer.
