Hi all
I am so angry that I need to come here and vent. I got a call from my Dr's office this afternoon. I was just there last week and sat and talked with the Dr about this TOS being work related...he even answered a signed a note from my lawyer saying it was no doubt work related. He even took me out of work! Ok, now here' s kicker that I don't get...the Dr told the billing office that they have to bill my insurance because it' s not a work related injury under workman's comp! What the heck? I'm sooo confused Now my only thinking on this is ...I just filed workman's comp on Feb 28th and it has not been determined by the insurance company if it is work related. They have 21 days. I was told that the Dr can submit bills to the insurance company anyways. Now, is the Doctor changing his mind and saying it's not work related or is is that he's afraid of not getting paid. I'm wondering since itg hasn't been approved by workmans comp...he wants to bill my private insurance to guarantee $$$$$$$$$$ ...especially since each treatment is $1,000. Hmmmmm....I just hope he didn't suddenly change his mind and say all this isn't due to my job....I don't know what would've changed his mind...!!!!!!!!!GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR RRRRRRR

if the doctor put it in writing that it was work related , i wouldn't worry about it.
he is probably trying to get paid as soon as possible, once the claim is approved wc will reimburse the private insurance. |

I agree that it looks like the doc is trying to get paid. As long as he put it in writing, i wouldn't worry.
