Default Update on letter to Governor S. in CA.

Hi All,
Yesterday I received a letter from the Governor's office stating that "our Governor appreciates hearing from his constituents on matters that are important to them.

On behalf of the Governor, we have directed your correspondence to the Department of Industrial Relations for review and investigation. Yo wil hear directly from representatives there within the next 45 days."

So... we will see. In the meantime, anyone interested in keeping this effort moving can call his office at (916) 445-2841 and let them know about our concerns.

There is an aide that I have spoken with several times named Vanessa that has assured me that she will stay on top of this; and I am sure that with some additonal persuasion, either by phone or written, we can be sure the ball doesn't get dropped. The Governor can be written to at:

Office of the Governor
State Capitol
Sacramento, CA 95814

And lastly, the letter closed by saying" the Governor is honored that you would turn to him for assistance with this matter."

Lets hope that he truly means that.

God Bless All,
G ~
