Wink West Coast Injured Members Here?

It's me Gary, asking if there are others from the West Coast here? How are you able to endure the games and pain while keeping your smile? California overhauled it's Worker's Compensation system in 2005, Arnold terminated most of the good legislation, it is said he asked the insurance carriers for their Wish List and made all their dreams come true.

it's good to meet you all!

Gary

Hi Gary, I'm also in California. WC here is a nightmare in my experience.
I get it... I don't smile nearly enough. Pain really gets to me, as does the loss of income, sense of purpose, socializing....
Accepting I needed medication to help manage pain was a big step. It made me sleep more, which I needed... but it also isolated me. Get help if depression sets in.
Get involved in managing your care. No one is there to advocate for you, so you have no choice to get more informed, research, and try your best not to let them get to you or give up. That, I've not mastered... yet. I've shed many tears over this..
Why are you here?
