I was recently laid off at a company that was cutting work and sending it to another country so I qualified for TRA benefits/unemployment and I am not required to make job searches when I file a claim every week. My question is since I am laid off I still have to be available to go back to work but I have moved to another state. When I change my address and file here will I lose the benefits since I am no longer able to report back to that company? Or can I just look for work here and keep the benefits?
