Exclamation What is considered unreasonable in medical care?

I live in MO and was released MMI for the 3rd time in 2012. Their IME stated i have RSD, I need more medical care, I can not work and it is work related.
She suggested WashU or Mayo, the insurance company wants to send me to FL for an intreatment program for a minimum of 30 days. They got her to endorse this clinic however she states she has no personal/working relationship with this clinic but from what she was told it sounds like it is good.

So here is my question:
Can I say I am not willing to go as it is unreasonable to ask me to leave my daughter and family for 30 days? That it seems unreasonable to have my treating dr in FL for a disease with no cure. Will the judge agree or will they be able to force me to go?

I can't imagine they would really expect you to be away from your family for 30 days..
And if you did would WC pay all costs?? travel, meals , lodging??
If you have the name of the place, you can ask our RSD forum members about it too.
No use going there if it might be a waste of time..

Do you have an atty on your side to help with this? Often with ongoing care needed like RSD requires, a good atty is needed to make sure you get bes results from WC.

You might also post on our RSD/CRPS forum, members may know of closer drs or clinics, that can be considered.

Was your dx in 2012, or recently?
Usually some injection/blocks are the best to try early on to stop, slow or reverse it.
But the RSD/CRPS forum is best for that information.

* It might be wise to not post any specific, identifiable details as WC may do searches if you claim may become very costly.*
