Question Question: May not be able 2 work the same job

So I am starting to hear from the doctors and PT people that I will not be able to work at Starbucks again b/c of my RSIs. Its been almost 8 months out of work for me.
What happens next???? I mean, I understand some of the legalities in CA- I might be awarded retraining vouchers (or a monetary settlement instead) once i receive a disability rating. But how do I choose a job once its all said and done? And when is it all said and done? >Meaning, when is it okay to look for a job? I assume once the WC payments stop. I think Starbucks is still responsible for my treatment up to a point too (?). I don't want to reinjure myself after I have gotten a new job because then I don't have this WC case open anymore.....
Anyone that can offer stories of life after WC are greatly welcomed. I feel more than a little lost and I really want to brace myself for what's next!
THANK YOU!!!
