Default How/where can you get PROPERLY checked for lyme?

Ive been having a sleu of symptoms that no one can seem to pinpoint what it is and although ive had the blood test for lymes, im almost positive its not the one which is most definitive. Does anyone know where/how I can go about getting checked the right way? I live in California. Thanks in advance for anyone who responds
