Trying to focus on lyme and Bart

Did only 5week IV rocephin and zithro followed by 2 week zithro rifampin. The LLMD/biological medicine doc did not want me on more abx. Her Eva testing definitely crazy to me showed infections getting better. I had to ask the inf disease doc what to do about the recent still positive Bart from igenex. He believes in ingenex. So he put me on zithro tabs 3x/week to keep Bart at bay. Is it enough? I read so many posts of people on abx months years and it not helping. I still have some suspicion the PN may be still just Bart lyme. But know Bart hardest to get rid of. I'm doing soluna detox and beyond balance herbals But a parent in my sons class got better at amer center for biologic medicine in AZ. Sole focus is getting organs and immune system functioning well before any microbials. They used citruscide which is strange given it's controversy. All I hear is tx very individualized. I'm so beat up having trouble making decisions. And to top it off facing a high likelihood of needing a hysterectomy in coming weeks. Sorry for venting on you. I should have done this forum wide

I don't think you have gone through enough antibiotics, either. Zithro dosing is 3 pills per infection..it has a long half life and stays in the body a long time. How many weeks of zithro are you doing? My llmd uses zithro with ceftin pulsing for 6 weeks at a time, but I don't have barts. Here's an older PubMed article discussing abx treatment regimens for barts:

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC415619/

It appears that your doctors are trying you on all the relevant pain regimens available, with no success unfortunately. I'm sorry to hear that..life lived with pain you can treat is difficult..with pain you can't treat I can't imagine. I hope they find something that works for you soon.

Abx for Bart n lyme

Thanks for the article. The IV vivo vs human or animal studies varied greatly. The other abxs for Bart are strewn with more neuropathy. Maybe I can try rifampin again orally. Tough to take though. Plus I get diahrea as I've mentioned before and they have concerns of C. difficile. You've got a lot on your plate with AS and sjorgrens. Sp? Gonna make a new post for tx on lyme Bart.
