Default numerous neuro issues from long term lymes

Can cope with the joint pain and fatigue but what this disease has done to my brain and thought process is almost more than I can cope with, (white brain matter lesions similar to MS patients). Been researching Aricept which is for dementia etc. Hate drugs but getting desperate. I have not done the iv abx. yet......last resort. Are there any lymies out there that have tried the Aricept? It seems to be relatively safe with few side effects. I also have adrenal exhaustion which I pretty much have to suck up. Adrenal support supplements are expensive and can take a year to help if ever. Add that to the lymes and you have one brain dead unhappy camper.
