Default Hi there!

Chemar,do you have Lyme also?? This article is getting a very big bashing on other Lyme forums! Too bad everything has to be so politcal when we just need help!

I've never taken any anti-biotics. Had I figured out earlier what I suspect is wrong with me, I could have found a LLMD & tried the drugs. As it is I'm now too darn broke to even consider it!

I personally have mixed feelings about ALL aspects of this disease. I've seen more improvement in the past year than I ever thought was possible, all from taking lots of vits & herbals. Tried the salt/c therapy last winter/spring & I was making good progress but then my BP went way too high & that scared me off!

So I'm just counting on my own immune system to do what's needed to heal.

Hope you are doing OK,thanks for sharing this info.

Hi Buttons
no I dont have Lyme myself, but do have a friend who does.

I got news of the article in one of the med journal alerts that I subscribe to and so posted the press release here in case it might be of interest.
I believe tha actual article is in the New England Journal of Medicine

all the best to you. I am also a BIG advocate of vitamin/herbal therapy after what it has done to help my son who has Tourette and Crohn's...still, I know meds are literally life savers in many situations too
