Default Shingles Vaccination causing problems for wife

Hi,
I had Chicken Pox (SEVERE CASE) at the ripe old age of 31. It was miserable for about a week. I wore socks on my hands so I wouldn't scratch myself. I couldn't sleep for a couple of days. Normal problems for someone having Chicken Pox at 31 years old I was told.

Then I had Shingles (per the Flight Surgeon) and found it was miserable too. I was unable to fly (Air Force) for over two months. I got better and God willing, I won't have to fight that battle again.

Fast Forward about 30 years and my 62 year old bride decided to get the Shingles Vaccination. Herpes Zoster may have been the stuff she got. This was about two weeks ago and she is still breaking out in a rash on her body. Even the roof of her mouth and the back of her throat has "blisters". She saw the dentist today and he said that it was the shot that caused it.

Does that make sense?

Have any of you had this shot?

I also wonder how long these "rash's" or whatever you want to call them are going to last?

I have not heard her say the rash itches or is uncomfortable, so I am stumped. Anyone been through this? thanks for your time...

The vaccine is for people age 60 and older. Here is a good site explaining what the results are, etc.

http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/vpd-vac/...s/vac-faqs.htm

I had Chicken pox when I was young. I've also had Shingles. I do not intend to get this vaccine for Shingles.

My cousin had Chicken Pox when she was young and she just got over a bout with Shingles. She caught it in time and was given a drug for it, can't remember the name, and it cleared up in no time. But the drug has to be given within so many hours of knowing you have a Shingles attack. I never had the drug - just rode out the awful Shingles attack.

I loathe vaccines of all kinds they are lethal to health...Why is it that all of these "New diseases" have and are being discovered? None of them were even symptomatic before "Vaccination". The illnesses that attack the immune system are directly related to Vaccination programs since the 1950's.

It took up to 30 years for some of the symptoms to be linked together into "syndromes" or "diseases". Now they are overwhelming the health system in a way they never did before vaccination.

And what do Vaccines claim to do? Stimulate the immune system...what happens when the immune system is over stimulated? Now we are finding out. But the information and documentation is suppressed to the point that it will never see the light of day.

Vaccines are training our bodies how to attack themselves. How to provoke an attack which weakens us more each time. And though there is pain relief, there is never any improvement in the actual disease or syndrome. What have our governments done to us by allowing chemical companies to experiement on us over such a long period of time?

I am not sure, but it could be they use live vaccine...which means the organism is just weakened but not dead, and that can cause problems in some people.

I had hideous chicken pox as a kid and given all my issues, would not doubt that shingles will rear its head....but I will deal with it then...no vaccine for me.

I just had my grandson vaccinated for his 6 month shots, and they gave WAY too many in my estimation. He was miserable for a week. I dunno about all these shots.
