Default Gabapentin

Well I'm trying it for the third time.
GP gave me some 300mg samples to try, but I found no benefit.
He suggested it again later on so gave me a script. Tried it for a week and no benefit.
Then my wife (nurse) said it takes several weeks to take effect, so I'm back on it for a longer trial.
200mg twice a day.
Interestingly, on the 2 days since starting again I've had much less head and neck pain.
Probably co-incidence, and I'll know after a few days as sometimes these good days are a prelude to a bad one.
I get a lot of aches at the top of the head/ neck area.
Trying to avoid facet injections or ablation.
Tramadol helps.
