Default Cymbalta killed my tastebuds :(

I had been on Cymbalta for a year and a half and noticed the entire time I was on it, my tongue was awfully dry and white (which I hear is common as anti-depressants dehydrate your system). I am into my second month from withdrawal from the med ( 8th day now with none) and noticed the normal pink coloring has returned to my tongue (YAY!), but my tastebuds are worse than ever! I can barely taste anything. I've even gone to eating very spicy food just so I can taste something. I'm hoping this is not permanent!!!
