Crazy PNS - requesting feedback of experiences

Hi.
It's Auberon come back to the fold.

I just would like to send you ALL my best thoughts - they are out there pick them up if you can.
I've had this condition for over 8 years now.

The DCS failed.
The Intrathecal pump was successful to a point but the condition has sustained its state of flux and has worsened so the initial relief has declined - although it was not fantastic. Still on some breakthrough meds but I believe not enough.

Have pushed like all get out to maintain as much mobility as possible but use a walker for the briefest shopping, crtuches always when away from home + disability scooter and wheelchair when it is needed and a stick at home.

QUESTION: I did some reading and couldn't find this posted on the site yet.

To refresh, my R knee is the primary affected area although I believe it has gone visceral and mirrored itself to the L leg. I cannot seem to convince "them" but I am the one living it.

So the proposal is to use percutaneous neural stimulation of the peripheral nerves to the knee.....I understand this will be addressing branches of the femoral nerve.
Has anyone gone down this pathway?

Would you be kind enough to send me your thoughts when you are able thank you.

In the back of my mind, I think if I don't try it and it does give some relief from the targeted symptoms, then I lose. BUT: For the first time, even though this is a trial I AM REALLY SCARED as they will be disturbing the affected neurones in a very direct way.

Life is going backwards in an what seems to be an exponentially increasing rate.
Cheers to all
Auberon
