Hi ~ You REALLY need to have a liver panel done to make sure your liver has not been affected. You should KEEP having these tests done about every 6 months, or else have your doctor switch you to something without the "tylenol in it, which would be the better option. Why not ask him to put you on a long-acting opiate??? Like MS Contin, Oxycontin, Opana, or something like that? You should NOT be taking Hydrocodone for this LONG. This was intended for short-term use ~ NOT for long-term like you've been taking it. Your doctor should be shot for keeping you on it this long!!! Your liver could be severely damaged by this time.
Have him schedule the liver panel ~ all it is is blood work. But it's VERY important that you have it done and soon. Then insist that he change your meds. Best of luck and God bless. PLEASE ~ LET us know what he says, ok? I really care! Hugs, Lee
