I suspect all the U.S. opiate drug manufacturers will do whatever they can to keep this combination of drugs off the U.S. market. I know I wouldn't ever take oxycodone alone or combined with acetaminophn if I could get it in a superior formulation of prolonged release oxycodone with prolonged release naloxone: 12 hours of sustained release v. a bolus 3-4 hr half-life, no perceived loss in analgesia and naloxone's total blockade of oxycodone constipating gut binding. Any ideas of how we can get a better drug combination now? "Not available in the U.S." seems to be the same petty Cold War rationale that blocked the sale of Cuban cigars in the U.S.
