I ran across a couple of sites today that included sections on patient reviews of various medications.
DoubleCheckMD http://doublecheckmd.com/DTHome.do AskaPatient.com http://www.askapatient.com/ Both sites include data on: Reason for taking the medication Dosage taken Duration taken Side effects experienced Sex/Gender of patient Age of patient Comments I would caution that these kinds of reviews/sites are probably weighted heavily toward the negative because people are far more likely to go out of their way to complain about something they're not happy with than to praise something they are satified/happy with - that's just human nature. The patient reviews might be useful in seeing what kinds of real-world problems patients are actually experiencing, keeping in mind that side effects are usually experienced by a minority of users - the more serious the side effect, the rarer it is likely to occur - statistically.
