Default Doxycycline efficacy n advice responses please.

Hello all..nice to find such knowledgeable people

I am a newly diagnosed Sero n antibody positive person with Lyme's disease. Unfortunately, I suffered for at least a year without diagnosis/testing as I do not live in an endemic area for lyme. I will work on my story in my profile ANYWAYS.....

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas about the efficacy of me taking doxycycline 200Mg daily for only three Weeks considering I have numerous neuro issues, arthritis, arthralgia and candida..! Those r the infections I am aware of anyways. I keep also wondering if lumbar punctures after antibiotic treatment show anything? Also if it would show coinfections. Lastly, (phew) it seems as though my family doc doesn't hav experience in this area and the ER doc referred me to an infectious disease Dr who doesn't seem worried. He (ID) is the only person in my city. Appointment on Monday so any info, ideas on questions to ask him, treatment concerns etc. please lend me your support. very appreciated.
