Default Fluoroquinolones (levofloxacin)

Hi, Six months ago my doctor prescribed an antibiotic containing Fluoroquinolones (levofloxacin) when I had bronchitis. Almost immediately, I suffered acute Achilles tendinitis in both legs, loss of balance, muscle weakness and nerve pains. I am keen to compare notes with anyone else who has suffered similar side effects.
I am a native English speaker living in Hungary who has some Hungarian. But I am interested in talking to anyone who has had a similar experience.

Welcome to NeuroTalk:

We've had some posters on the PN forum who have issues with
this family of drugs.

And a post about it with further links you can explore:

Unfortunately there is not much to do about it once this reaction happens. You need to be very careful with the tendons, as
they can rupture.
