Default End Game

Posted yesterday about not being able to get pain meds for chronic pain and nerve damage. Second day of withdrawls. Not pleasant. The last two drs I saw(1monday,1 friday) dont believe in pain meds for chronic pain. Only peolpe in late stages of cancer and right after surgery. Only two times they should be used. They said my severe depression(from being in pain and not being able to work while wife has to) and Opioid Induced Hyperalgesia is causing my pain. Told them both that in May of 2012 a familey friend of my brother, Dr.Kasoff, a neurosurgeon, told me the same thing,Opioid Induced Hyperalgesia. Took my pills (oxycodone 30mg, Neurotin,200mg) and told me pain would stop after I stopped taking the meds. Well 7 days later, after withdrawls Dr. said he was wrong. He suspected nerve damage(which 3 emgs show). Said I didnt meet the signs of OIH, widespread pain in body, pain that increases as you increase dosage of pain meds(on 30ng for 3 years) and increasing sensitivity to pain.So today, sitting on couch, crying in pain(50 year old ex teamster, military) shouldnt be doing that. Found bottle of Nuycenta 50mg, that I was perscribed months ago but didnt help. Was thinking of taking all 60 when my dog jumped up and started licking me. Snapped out of it. Cant take nuycenta cuz if I find Dr next week will drug test and that script expired. Just cant belive that 7 years after acccident Im still in Unbearable pain. At a loss right now.

Default Get to th e.r brother

I can't believe you have made it two days in withdrawal on top of your chronic pain that is unbearable. Go to the e.r. I had to go yesterday for migraine headache and they gave me a shot of dilaudid. I slept all day. Tomorrow is Monday and you will be finding yourself a nice old doctor to go to who understands about pain. I found my dr by asking the patient advocates while I was in the e.r long ago. Told them I had chronic pain and general practitioner says i need pain specialist and I don't know where to go. They got me in to my doctor now within a couple hours that same day. Try that. Feel bad for you bro.
