Default prescribed Quetiapine

I was just given this medication for depression, and I cannot stay awake. Is this going to be like this everyday? And all I want to do is eat. I really don't think I can keep taking it. I did just start it but I am already 60lbs over weight, so eating more will be a nightmare.
