Default Anxiety w/new Med -Help!

I have been on Sinemet for a few weeks now. I'm a 32 year old who has had Parkinson's for the last few years. Prior to this, I was on Mirapex ER. I was doing well with it except that I suffered from leg cramping.

I am on the Sinemet 25-100 . I take 1.5 pills daily. I noticed that I was slowly becoming more anxious but did not blame the meds. In the past two days, the anxiety is so overwhelming and so severe that I am having trouble simply making it through the day.

My doctor said that I can omit one pill. If tomorrow follows as today went, I feel as though I may have to hospitalize myself due to the anxiety attacks.

Advice is welcome!

I don't know anything about Sinemet, but from posts MrsD has made in the past, I'm wondering if it, or something else, is depleting magnesium. It would be a shame to give up a med that works for something as simple as that to fix, or to blame the Sinemet if it's something else.
