Default Pregabalin (Lyrica) and Alcohol

Hi , I take 2, 75 mg a day for neuropathic pain due to wisdom tooth extraction many years ago which has started to bother me again. I will be attending a family dinner soon and wondered if a could have a glass of beer with my meal. I've been through such a lot lately I am looking forward to chill with my family who live away.

Thanks

Nick

Any sedative ..and alcohol is a sedative... may add more sedation to you Lyrica side effects. If you are driving, this would be a critical decision to make. If you are intending to drive, I would avoid the alcohol.

After one drink the next one become easier to want...and may lead to your drinking too much combined with the Lyrica.

It is up to you... people differ alot with sedative drugs. But it is a risk to drink with Lyrica.

Nick, is there enough lead time that you could run a test in a safe (someone else present in case) environment ahead of time?

Thanks MrsD Certainly won't drive even so not sure if I'll risk it anyway.

Thanks DR Smith . I remember the show well. If I try this at all I think your suggestion is the way to do it.
