Default Neck pain

Hello,

Fist of all, please let say hello to everybody and thank you for reading my post.

I wrote on this forum hopping that I will get an answer related to a medical problem of my mother.

The problem started about one month ago when my mother started to have pain in the neck. At the beginning it wasn’t seriously but one day, when she got up from the bed, her neck did a cracking noise and from that point, the problem started to be seriously. A swelling appeared in the backside of the neck, and in the same time she couldn’t swallow because the neck is somehow nettled.

First, the doctor thought that she has sciatica and my mother did an injection treatment. Even so the problem didn’t disappeared.

After this she went to make an x-ray and a tomograph analysis that revealed she has the second cervical vertebra moved to the marrow.

Next week she will have a neurosurgery consultation but I would like a second opinion until next week.

And the biggest problem is that two years ago she had a breast cancer operation and I’m afraid that this neck problem could be related with cancer.

I’ve uploaded the tomograph pictures on a server (http://download2-5.files-upload.com/...26/01/JPEG.zip) and if somebody can see something clear in those pictures please let me know, because any help means a lot for me.

Best regards,
Gabi
