After years on the same dosage, I am tapering very slowely: 1 mg in almost 2 months. I am quite small so keep in mind this is probably more for me than for the average person.
So far I’ve tapered 2 mgs and want to continue. However, I need to know if some of my issues starting since tapering are normal, and will the disappear with time, or is it a sign my body needs the prednisone? I experience many nasty things, but most I can handle, but these two are especially hard: Exhaustion. Extremely, “are you sleepwalking, are you dead?” tired. I am so tired I want to puke and cry. Mental / emotional. I feel weird. I feel jittery, anxious, depressed, cannot handle things. People, sounds, movements, anything really. Everything is too much. I feel like I’m losing it kinda. My head is so weird. I cry a lot Is this something that will disappear over time, or will it not go away? Is it normal in prednisone taper? |
