Looking for info on drug skelaxin. The only co. that makes it is King phar. I called them and they said there is no research on crushing it - only splitting it in half. Unfortunately I tried that and scrached my throat several times. The half pill is still irritating. The main ingredient is metaxone and on another website it said it can be crushed. Pharmacist concurs with that on her list. This is rather confusing. Also, on some websites it cautions not to take with anti dep or anti conv, I am on both lyrica and either ambien ir restoril. I am keep switching or they don't work. I also take xanex. Lots of drugs - still trying since the other 40 in isolation haven't worked. Apparently my body metabolizes them quickly and there is no positive pain control whatsover.
Anyone know about this medication? I am taking 800 mg. 3x a day (crushed if possible) , lyrica (400), naprosyn for TMJ also. I have FM, RSD, TMJ, and Meralgia Paresthetica.
Hoping Mrs D knows about this but I haven't seen her post her for awhile.

usually if there is a scored mark on it that means you can . if no mark then no. If you have the 800 mg , you really need to take it all .
