Default Okay maybe we'll try another

Dear fellow sufferers

Any input on Effexor ER
I have been put on a number
of Meds Prozac CYMBALTA
Lexepro (took me into a very dark place)
Zoloft Lyrica (I will never recommend)
Understanding drugs effect each person differently
I have had breast cancer
Cancer in right breast
Had them both taken 3years this past January
And it is because of my cancer Meds
that interacts taking the above Meds
Or rather the other way around
They lessen the chemo pill
Anything one may share
Much thanks in advance
A wish to all a belly laugh in your day
Me

I have been on Effexor XR (150 mg/day) for some years. I have found very helpful, combined with non-pharmaceutical approaches (CBT, mindfulness/meditation methods, etc).

My psychiatrist told me that it is important to take it at the same time each day, which I do as part of my morning routine.

If my experience is any guide it took about a month before Effexor kicked in fully.

I hope that it works well for you.

Hi Eva,
Since you are now on your 5th prescription antidepressant, may I suggest you research natural remedies if it turns out the Effexor does not work out for you. I have found that Sam-E is a very effective antidepressant for me. I have been unable to tolerate any of the side effects of prescription anti-d's. But, please, don't try it until you are NOT on any prescription ones and do discuss it with your doctor, especially your oncologist if you are still doing any treatment for your cancer. This is something a naturopathic doctor would be more familiar with though.
You CANNOT take Sam-E and prescription antidepressant together....please never make that mistake.

To me, the best benefits, aside from side effect free antidepressant is this is supposed to help clean your liver(which I need because I take so many prescription drugs) and help with joint pain.

That is the only one I have personally taken, I know there are others like Saint John's sort, etc.

My prayers for you to completely clear your cancer and to feel better and better every day.

Take care,
Diandra

Default pain specialest

had my brief appointment
needed to get scripts
that wasn't the only pain
getting back into car only to see
my back fender was hit
while in doctors office
no note
why would one do such a thing
needless
the important thing
no one was in the car
it was parked
here is the thing
there is a hospital directly across the street
when the officer arrived
i asked him with all the cameras out
it was bound to be on one of them
if it was possible to view
i was blown away with his response was
"we only do things like that
if a fatality occurred
or something big like that
told him i do not want to take the effexor
he understood
so
i made the decision
me

Cool Smirk

Eva,
Now, or later, the person who hit your car will get their comeuppance. I believe there is a Karmic Balance in issues like this that will not go unpunished.
A blessing no-one was hurt.

Dave.
