Default Malpractice

I finally had my 2nd MRI and will get an opinion soon. I'm interviewing medical malpractice lawyers. A lot are not in this area because often lawyers and doctors run in the same social circle. I don't want to hire his golf partner lol. Before I take one step I'll seek legal aid, if not this is all on my dime. That's what I read on the medicare website. If I have a case I do not want to go to trial. That can run 8 to 10 years and all the money awarded goes to legal fees. Most defendants don't want to go to trial. Sadly, even if a death occurs the dr almost never loses their medical license.

A family member has been left with so much damage from drugs/interactions, etc and she trusted the doctor who she was seeing. One horrible side effect she lives with is sudden hearing loss, she and her husband and some family members sat with a mal practice attorney and came to the realization that she didn't have a strong enough case....and to think all these drugs are FDA approved....I don't wonder why I steer as clear as I can from the drugs....

A friend naively said the other day when we were talking "how can they do all these damaging drugs"? This friend lives with major hearing loss from Midol she took for years.
