Lightbulb ProBiotic/lactobacillus helps whentaking AntiBiotic !

something most of us have known for some time, but how good to see it getting credible research focus too!
BMJ article

shortly after my son's dx with Crohn's disease, he was given an extended course of xifaxin to bring bad GIT bacteria under control

when I mentioned the need for probiotic to the GI specialist(highly respected!), he looked at me like I was from another planet and said: "oh, that is all just nonsense!"

........................

needless to say we cut our relationship with him once the colonoscopy was over and the dx confirmed.
