Here is an article about the FDA increasing warnings for
fluoroquinolones, (Cipro, Levaquin, and Avelox) to use them only as a last resort. FDA enhances warnings on group of strong antibiotics

My friend is going thru some misery now as she was prescribed 5 tablets of the generic Levaquin and after just taking 2 she is feeling advanced joint pains. She is not taking the balance...Will start with a supplement called UT Answer that contains D-Mannose. She was given this for a UTI.
Read some of the comments at the end of this link. It's hard to believe that doctors are pushing these drugs so much with all the reported damages.
