Default Lyrica

Ive been taking lyrica for 2 weeks for nrve damage in my knee from 2 surgerys and i feel like im stoned 24/7. I am not a druggy and cant believe how this makes me feel. I did some reseaerch on it and some patients do get a drunk feeling.I take 100 mgs a day.I wake up still stoned.I'm really not complaining but its like they put thc in this pill.I see alot of ppl with sleepiness and dizzy symptoms,if i recall doesnt marijuana do that to some ppl.Anyone else feel like this...In my younger days i did some experimentation..but its been a long time since then but i remember the feeling.Sometimes im so out of it i can't drive or remember things.
Thanks
KP

Thumbs Up yep lyrica and mj

Hi there..

The stoned/drunk/uphoric feeling lasted for me 3 weeks when I first went on Lyrica at 75 mg twice daily, my doc sugested I stay on it for longer and sure enouph the feeling went away.. pain relief was such that I was happy to have it increased to 150 mg twice a day.. I have been on this dose for 5 weeks and the weirdness is still here but I don't want to go back down to the lower dose now so I put up with it.

Herbal medicine (MJ) helps me as well.. actualy the lyrica comes the closest to the kind/type/amount of pain relief that smoke gives me.. but it dosn't give me any nausia relief and lyrica has way more and worse side effects methinks.. but both work for me. I know what you mean about driving though can be a very drunk feeling eh..

be well,
S
