Have you tried expert chiropractic , and/or someone that has a low level laser?
(also called soft /cold laser)
if you can find somewhere to try a laser, I'd try it first.
DC used it on my neck, shoulders, elbow, wrist, low back , even my foot for plantar fasciitis. Most times 20 sec per spot & pain was gone..

When we are hurting we often tend to walk/move favoring the sore area that can set us up for misalignments also..

Do you have or tried a TENS or IF stim? my IF stim was around $70 on Amazon..

I've tried them all it seems, all the lasers cold and hot. My knee is way worse since the staph infection put me down for 4.5 months. Did not walk for 2.5 month due to the infection NOT being found by doctors. I have a grievence with the hospital doctors. An MRI found the infection and then it took 2 months of abx drugs. So my knee is more damaged than ever from this ordeal.

Some one told me they had stem cells to the tune of $4500 and no help. So it seems like the worse a condition is, the harder to quiet it down and try to live with it.

My knee started bothering me 22 yrs ago at age 57, I'm going to be 79 this summer.

And I dread another joint replacement as I live with the 3 side effects from hip replacement going on 7 yrs ago. Aging is not for sissies.

I'm going to make appt to see ortho MD in July or so and get his evaluation again. I've done so much PT and my leg is much stronger than it was with that infection going on. What a nightmare that was. Thanks...

Am wondering if you decided to try this procedure.
My pain mgmt doc is pushing, HARD, for me to do this for my knee pain and I'd love to find folks that have done it to get their feedback.
