Hi Steff
I had been on Cymbalta. I noticed a difference in my pain after just 3 days, I started sleeping better because the pain was not such an issue. Cymbalta did not take care of all my pain but a good amount. The only side affect was constipation but that resolved in about 2 weeks. I no longer use Cymbalta and I did what is not recommended......I stopped taking it cold turkey. The only thing I noticed was a headache which lasted a few weeks and the pain returning. At the time I stopped taking Cymbalta I was on 60mg.

Cymbalta never helped me with my nerve pain. It helped with migraines for a short time though. I know people with RSD (nerve pain) that say it works really really well, though!
