Hi, I am not even sure what kind of doctor to visit. My experience with psychiatrists is that they usually don't know that much about receptors, and I usually didn't get much help or understanding from them when I tried to explain this.

I thought about visiting neurologist or some kind of psychiatrists but on a professor level. What do you think?

I would also probably need to back this up with some theory, as I think like it is a pretty rare condition, as even on another forum dedicated to this kind of stuff I have hardly received any feedback after posting on the subject.

TBH I also write here assuming that there might be someone with the knowlege appropriate to at least point me to some reasearch that could come in handy when talking to a doctor. From my experience it is often worth doing some reasearch beforehand and then consult it with a professional...

Kind regards

Really not any response? Not even a hint to where to look further? Really? Anybody?

Hello
Just a reminder that these are patient support forums and so not professionals responding. If members don't reply, it usually means that those reading this section just do not have the information you have asked about.

You may want to consider asking on the Addictions forum as more members there may have experience with misusing medications/drugs?
Here is the link to that forum
