I was on attacked and beaten up into a coma and was given anti psychotic medication for 17 years. The pills never worked Latuda abilify geodon respridol haloperidol serequel. So I finally got an injection once a month of haloperidol to get rid of head pain and chest pain. It still didn’t work ,so I had Botox injections 2 times in 6 months. And it worked but I still feel sad and dry with fragile body it feels weird at times. How do I get completely pain free? What injection is left to give me now? I don’t have time to continue to be on disability I want to get better.

Hi, Ruben562,
You've been dropping in here occasionally for quite a number of years, and you've obviously been struggling with considerable pain. You've tried so many drugs that I hope that you have a competent doctor overseeing your prescriptions and making sure that the dosage is appropriate--and that they aren't interacting with one another in some harmful way. Check the credentials of any doctor you're seeing and try to latch on to doctors who are genuinely helpful and knowledgeable. That isn't always easy to do but there are capable doctors out there.

Isn’t there like one more injection they need to do to make me better?

I hope something that will help can be found.
Since so many drugs have already been tried, I think I'd be tempted to experiment with other possible solutions--maybe physical therapy, maybe a new rest routine, maybe even diet changes or different ways of spending my time during the day. Are you getting adequate sleep, for instance? Or does the pain prevent that?

I sleep good every day and rest all day. I got a bad memory because of this and I’m slow and stiff and weak and fatigue. I feel fragile but I’m not in pain. Isn’t there a injection for this to finally get rid of the pain of 17 years once and for all?

I'm confused. When you say:

Maybe you mean that you have pain but only during your waking hours. I'm sorry I don't know of a medicine that will help. People here at NeuroTalk aren't medical professionals. I'm afraid you'll need to turn to your doctor(s) because they're the ones who know what to prescribe.
