Question Ambein questions...

I was wondering if anyone can give me information on Ambein (sp?). I have not been able to sleep in the last three days (seriously no sleep at all), but my dr. had prescribed me Ambein prior to this and I am out. I was wondering if the reason I can't sleep is because I haven't been able to take the Ambein?

I hear it is habit forming, so I was wondering what side effects one has had when coming off of it?

All information/suggestions/ideas would be greatly appreciated.

M

Finally was able to get some sleep last night. After three, almost four nights I finally was able to get some Ambein from my doc and it put me to sleep within 10 minutes. However, it didn't keep me to sleep very long. I slept about 4 hours and was awake again.

I am still so tired, anyone have any suggestions/ideas/comments. I have tried melatonin and it never helped me. I know that some say that you have to be on melatonin for awhile before it helps, but I tried it for three months to no avail.

Help me?

There's nothing worse than not being able to sleep at night! And to not be able to sleep for 3 nights? Oh my! I been taking Ambien for the past year. I was taking Ambien CR then switched to the generic form of regular Ambien. I tried not taking it and was not able to go to sleep. Honestly, I really don't care if it is habit forming or not. I would rather sleep at night than not sleep at all. Prior to taking Ambien I would just lay in bed trying to fall asleep and when I finally did, I would wake only an hour or two later. I was exhausted all of the time which made my depression worse. So, like I said, I would rather take the Ambien and sleep. Good night and pleasant dreams!

Default sleep

You could try taking 25 mg of seroquel instead? Or you could take another 1/2 ambien when you wake up. Melatonin is not a good option for most people, and if it is going to work it will work immediately.
