Default Burning pain widespred - in hospital No help

Thanks to those who answered re: my experience with the chloral hydrate.
The burning then spread to my throat, chest, and stomach. This happened a week after I tookthe stuff. The Dr. thinks it triggered off the pain receptors in my mouth, etc. Because of my severe allodynia I am extremely open to ths kind of happening. It is worse when talking. My throat hurts like crazy as does my tongue.
I went into the hospital Mon. AM. MY N. Y. Dr (pain specialist) and my cousin(md. phd.) consulted and thought the best thing to do was put me on an IV morphine pump. Five years ago my Mer. Par. spread burning throughout my body and the morphine took it away.
Unfortunately, they could not find a vein. Thus they put me on 25 mcg fentanyl patch. I had them before and they don't work. Also, put me on prevacit and chlorela. I have not improved at all since I started the meds. I upped the patch to 50 and tonite will up it to 75 (Saw my naturpathic dr. today and he rec. upping the patch and also put me on neurontin. (this drug never worked before either).
Just got off the phone with Dr. bill Deagle he thinks actiq would be better and I should see a glossal pharengyeal specialist and pain mang to titrate the actiq.
If I do not act quickly this is permanent, Oh - he also rec. compundi ng zinconitide.
Help! How do [I] do all this. I can just about function.

Oh gosh, Sydney, that is just terrible!
I'm so sorry you're having to deal with this.

I am also sorry that I can't help you with any advice re the medications suggested. I just hope that something helps you soon and that you're feeling better. What a shocking thing to happen after taking that stuff. ugh.
